Breathe in  -  Breathe out

I should know by now
The world doesn't
turn on my timetable

I have been here countless times before
Inpatient -
Things not going fast enough -
The computer barely chugging along

Cursing doesn’t work
Huffing and puffing doesn’t work
‘Poor me’ doesn’t work
Nothing works

Breathe in  -  Breathe out

The only way through is
One breath at a time -

Knowing that this situation -
Like all the situations before it
Will eventually resolve itself

Knowing many would
Do just about anything
To suffer only this inconvenience.
