‘Forest Trash’

Remnants -
Once vital parts
Now, merely stepped over.

Breathe in  -  Breathe out

Holding stories -
Good years
Stressful years -
The Fire

Providing the best it could
For those
Depending on it

Yet following natural life cycles
Fades
But still nourishes
